D-Reizen is an important brand name for the travel industry in the Netherlands. D-Reizen was an ‘early adopter’ of Irion’s self-learning chatbot. The chatbot was tested for the first time on a highly structured database of travel information, and proved very successful immediately. However, most of the D-Reizen’s customers either search for cost-worthy holidays in a very structured an predefined way, or just like to browse around. For these purposes Irion’s intelligent chatbot works very well, but adds little to the classical search methods, offered by the modern post-filtering search engines, and used by most of the travel agencies on the Internet.
